We are excited to announce that we have welcomed two new members of staff at Square Peg Associates. Ebony Alderson and Olivia Horsfield joined us in July as Recruitment Consultants. They are both excited to support our clients and match them to the perfect candidate. We’re growing, and Ebony and Olivia are here to support us and help us to grow further.
Meet Ebony Alderson
Ebony graduated this year from The University of Central Lancashire and jumped right into the world of work and recruitment. Ebony previously worked in the customer service industry and has great admin, social and organisational skills which are already proving helpful in her new role. She is a very enthusiastic and positive person and brings sunshine and laughter into the office on a daily basis.
In her personal life, Ebony is very social and has lots of friends. She is very spontaneous and loves to try something new. She even appeared as an extra on the show First Dates a couple of years ago! Although she did admit the sole purpose was to meet the host, Fred.
We asked Ebony what her favourite thing about her new role is and she said she “enjoys being able to challenge herself” and “working with an inspiring, hardworking team”.
Meet Olivia Horsfield
We have also welcomed Olivia Horsfield to the Square Peg team. Prior to joining us, Olivia completed a bachelors and masters degree in law and has worked at industry-leading solicitor firms. She decided to have a career change and decided with her experience and knowledge, that recruitment would be the perfect challenge.
Olivia is lucky enough to have travelled around the world and has lived in multiple countries. When Olivia was younger she utilised her summers to work at children’s summer camps in Paris. She says that her experience taught her a range of skills and life lessons, the most important being patience! Travelling has also given an insight into diversity and culture which is always extremely valuable.
Olivia can use her work and social experience and can apply it to many of the traits a recruiter needs. We asked Olivia to describe herself in three words and she chose “Transparent, ambitious and bubbly”.
