On Wednesday 30th November, Square Peg Associates were crowned winners of Rossendale’s Best Small Business 2022. The team had a great night of meeting new businesses, networking and of course, celebrating the win!
We are so proud to announce that we are a 2022 R-Awards winner. After recently moving to Rossendale to support our growth, we were over the moon to be nominated for two awards. Square Peg Associates were nominated for
- Small Business Award
- Service Business Award
We are happy to announce that we were winners of the Small Business Award and came runner-up in the Service Business Award.
The Awards Evening was a great night. It was Square Peg’s 1st Rossendale Awards night, what a fantastic evening it was! The ceremony was held at the Ashcroft, Whitworth. We were served a lovely three-course meal followed by the awards ceremony and enjoyed the remainder of the night. It was great to be in the same room as so many great people, successful businesses and inspiring achievements.
We caught up with existing clients, met some fantastic new people and businesses and had lots of fun, and rubbish dancing! There was a great atmosphere in the room, all celebrating each other’s achievements and successes. R-Awards 2022 received its largest number of entries to date which is fab for the borough. In total, there were over 4000 entries which is superb, the businesses in Rossendale are all amazing, and we are all winners! We are really feeling part of the Rossendale community after the awards evening.
After we were awarded the Small Business of The Year, we were interviewed Live on Rossendale Radio. This was a great conversation with the lovely Dorrie Partington and Tony Nixon. It definitely wasn’t a boring one! We may have had quite a few prossecos at this point and it involved some singing and whooping. We will have to go down to Rossendale Radio HQ for a formal interview soon!
It really was a fantastic night overall. A chance to network and meet lots of Rossendale businesses. We even got some meetings booked! A huge thank you to organisers Valley at Work, particularly Ruth Winter, for all of your hard work. Another well done to all Rossendale businesses, you are all truly amazing and inspiring, we are all winners!
