Square Peg Associates are committed to not only our clients and candidates but also our community and are happy to share that we recently completed the Colour Obstacle Rush for Rossendale Hospice for our pledge to corporate social responsibility. The fun event ended in us raising £355.11 for Rossendale Hospice, our chosen charity.
Corporate Social Responsibility is extremely important to us. Giving back is important to us as individuals, but as a business too! We are all about spreading happiness and it does not end with candidate placements. Our recent participation in the Colour Obstacle Rush is a perfect example of this.
The Colour Obstacle Rush
The Square Peg Associates team had a fantastic day at the Colour Obstacle Rush in Manchester. The Colour Obstacle Rush is a 5K challenge with a twist! It is not just a run. The colour obstacle rush includes obstacles, slides, foam pits and more, all whilst being doused in colour sprays and powders!
Not only was it a lot of fun, but it was a great teambuilding exercise for our team. It allowed us to work together, out of the office, help each other out, and of course have lots of laughs whilst raising money for Rossendale Hospice.
About Rossendale Hospice
We chose Rossendale Hospice as the benefactor of our fundraising from completing the Colour Obstacle Rush. Rossendale Hospice is just down the road from Square Peg HQ and makes a huge impact on our community.
Rossendale Hospice is a facility for patients facing critical illnesses. They provide fantastic care to their patients, and also their families. The team at Rossendale Hospice offer people care, support, kindness, and a safe place in very difficult times.
Hospices rely on local support to continue providing such fantastic care and support to our community, and Square Peg was happy to help. We managed to raise a total of £355.11 for Rossendale Hospice thanks to our lovely family, friends, clients and candidates!

To continue to provide the services that we do for our patients and our community, we have to raise around £1 million every year, most of which we rely very heavily on fundraising and the generosity of the community. “The Square Peg ladies took part in the 2023 Colour Obstacle Rush held in Manchester. We chose Rossendale Hospice as our charity this year because of the fantastic impact they have on our local community and the significance they have to us individuals. It is also just down the road from Square Peg Associates Office.
We managed to raise a total of £355.11 for the Hospice and would like to thank everyone who was kind enough to donate. It is safe to say we got very messy but had lots of fun and were brought together as a team, for such a great cause.
We are already looking forward to taking part next year!!”
