Our client is an established Financial Services Providerwho has a breadth and depth of resource across a wide range of insurancedisciplines. They are a fast paced and successful business who is continuouslylooking to the future, and are looking to add a Life and Protection SalesConsultant to their growing team.
The Life and Protection Sales Advisor will provideoptions to clients in order for them to purchase appropriate protectionpackages to suit their individual needs.
You will work a 37 hour week with early finishes onFridays!
Provide information and educate clients toimprove awareness of ways to ensure financial security in circumstances whichinclude; surviving a defined critical illness, income protection during longterm absence from work (sickness, injury, and disability), death of a familymember.
Research the market to provide the bestoptions to cover these potential events in order to ensure financial stabilityfor dependents.
Work with clients to ensure all paperwork forapplications is submitted and processed correctly.
Ensure all updates are made to relevantsoftware following sales.
Chase up the underwriting with Life Quote andother providers to ensure processes are completed in a timely manner.
Chase up access to medical records withclients when required to aid the process.
Pre-populate and process Trust forms whenrequired to further protect benefits on death (this could move to anadministrator’s task if sales increase).
Follow up on missed premiums and cancelledpolicies to minimize and claw back commissions paid. Reinstate or sellalternative plan.
Following a decision from underwriters, act asthe liaison with the client to discuss the outcome and the start date. In non-standardor unsuitable cases discuss with clients and or provide alternative ratedquotes, to meet their requirements.
When a decision is made by the underwriters, Iliaise with the clients to if everything is accepted on standard terms. Ifdecision is non-standard and not suitable I discuss this with the client Createopportunities whenever available and covert warm leads into sales.
Provide information in accordance with soundunderstanding of underwriting.
Create leads for other departments. Crosssell.
Remain compliant with FCA and act in aprofessional manner.
Build and maintain relationships with clientsfrom inception to completion of sale.
Work to targets and provide sales statisticson a weekly basis to managers.
Trainee: £22K + uncapped commission
Competent Advisor: £24K + uncapped commission
Senior Advisor: £26K + uncapped commission
